Application Process
Positions
We recruit five categorical positions each year. Those matching in our program will
begin as a PGY1 at the University of Toledo in Internal Medicine.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Degree from an LCME accredited medical school for US and Canadian graduates.
- A valid ECFMG certificate for Foreign Medical Graduates
- US citizenship, permanent residency or eligibility for J1/H1B visa.
- Three (3) letters of recommendation preferably from physicians licensed to practice in the US or Canada.
Preferred:
- USMLE score of 220 or above on part II
- US Clinical experience
- Medical school graduation within five (5) years

Applications must be submitted by November 1st of the appropriate Match year. Interviews run mid-October through mid-January and will be held virtually through the Thalamus platform. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted via email.
