Divisions: Allergy and Immunology

The Division of Allergy and Immunology focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of allergic, immunologic, and inflammatory disorders in children. Faculty care for patients with conditions such as asthma, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, eczema, drug allergies, and primary immunodeficiency diseases. The division provides comprehensive, patient-centered care that includes diagnostic testing, immunotherapy, and long-term management strategies tailored to each child’s needs.

In addition to clinical care, the division plays a key role in educating medical students and residents in the principles of immune system function and allergic disease management. Faculty are often engaged in scholarship aimed at understanding the mechanisms of immune dysfunction, improving therapies, and advancing prevention strategies.
