Divisions: Pediatric Gastroenterology
Our department provides exceptional access to the patients and their families seeking high quality pediatric GI care in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. We make available the latest therapeutic and diagnostic advances to our patients and collaborate closely with other tertiary care centers for optimal patient outcome.
Recent highlights from Dr. Sanjoy Banerjee include his invitation to speak at the Society for Ear Nose and Throat Advancement in Children (SENTAC) Annual Conference on the topic “EoE Recognition and Management: Emphasis on the Aerodigestive Patient.” He was also invited to present at Amrita Hospital in Faridabad, India, where he spoke on “The Coming Wave of Chronic Pediatric GI Disorders in India: Time for a Gut Check.”
Medical students and residents develop skills from direct patient encounters in outpatient and inpatient settings. They acquire evidence based knowledge and also learn about various diagnostic procedures in the field.
