Research Steering Committee
The Research Steering Committee (RSC), consisting of faculty representatives from different departments with expertise in both basic and clinical research, serves as an advisory body to the Senior Associate Dean for Research. The RSC is tasked with providing strategic guidance, fostering collaboration, and supporting decision-making to advance the research mission of COMLS. Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of research initiatives, advising on program planning, including the organization of faculty scientific retreats, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty and enhancing the research enterprise, supporting efforts to align research programs with institutional goals and complementing the activities of the Dean’s RAC. By working collaboratively, the RSC plays a critical role in shaping the future of research at COMLS, ensuring excellence, innovation, and the growth of a dynamic scientific community.
