The Office of University Marketing and Communications launched in July 2024 a new brand for The University of Toledo that establishes a clear identity across its higher education and healthcare entities. The Power To Do campaign promotes UToledo as a transformative public research university and academic medical center that amplifies the initiative of our people.

UToledo partnered with BVK, a Milwaukee-based marketing firm, to refresh the brand in a way that is both authentic and aspirational to show the impact UToledo has on our community today and our relentless pursuit of excellence to create the future.

The power of UToledo’s teaching, research and care is highlighted through the stories of faculty experts, successful students and alumni, and dedicated staff through slice of life photography and bold type in headlines that pull TO DO out of UTOLEDO for ownable and impactful messaging.

The brand features a new curved graphic element with shades of blue that mimics the curve of the UToledo shield logo. The University's midnight blue and gold colors remain our core identity. New magenta and teal accents also appear in updated creative materials.
