UToledo is now recognized among the country’s top research universities!

The Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education announced today that UToledo is among the select universities that earned recognition for very high research activity. We are the only university in our region with this R1 Classification.

We are planning an event this spring to celebrate our achievement with UToledo faculty and researchers. Today I wanted to say congratulations and that I couldn’t be more proud to lead this public research university.
