Important Dates

Credit card refunds may be issued back to the original credit card used for payment on the student account. Credit card refunds will never exceed the original credit card payment amount. Credits may show up on the account holder’s online credit card account within days, although the exact time frame will depend on the credit card issuer.

Student refund process - All students should setup a refund profile in myUT portal (E-Refund and Profile Setup).  A valid US local or permanent address is needed to process a refund.  Please review and update your address in myUT portal under My Other Resources, if needed.  Refunds will begin processing the second day of the semester. Personal payments (Cash, e-Check, etc.) refunds, will be processed after the add/drop period of each semester.
