Tracey Hildalgo
Tracey Hildalgo joined the Professional Staff Council in 2021.
Tracey began her career in higher education in 2012 with the first two years in Human Resources. She transitioned to working with International students at the University of Toledo and has been doing so for approximately seven years. In addition to her daily role as the Assistant Director in the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS) in which she oversees the immigration operations for The University of Toledo, she is also the staff advisor for two international student organizations. Tracey has seen both sides of the immigration field as she came to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago as an F-1 student in 2004, and has gone through several non-immigrant, and immigrant processes in the U.S. Tracey holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from The University of Toledo and also completed her Master’s Degree (MBA majoring in Human Resources) at UToledo.
When not enjoying her time at The University of Toledo, Tracey enjoys being with her husband and two kids and their several pets which include a dog, cat, leopard gecko and pink toed tarantula. She also enjoys gardening and reading.
