Area of research

  1. Topical drug delivery - designing, optimizing, and testing cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical topical formulations, including creams, lotions, gels and ointments, using in silico modeling
  2. Sunscreens - SPF and broad-spectrum protection boosting technologies
  3. Novel methods for testing the sensory attributes of cosmetic emulsions
  4. Sensory testing of cosmetic products
  5. Studying emulsion stabilization mechanisms and emulsification techniques
  6. Oral delivery: formulating and evaluating tablets with immediate release (such as ODTs), and/or sustained release
