Career Launch Day is a job and internship fair open to all students within the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Employers attending this fair will feature pharmacy technician positions, internships, residency programs, and full-time opportunities within pharmaceutical sciences, cosmetic science, community pharmacy, healthcare, biotech, and the like.  Event details are outlined below. This hotel has free/open parking during the event.

Event Schedule & Location:

• • 8:00am-8:45am: Employer Check-In and Set-Up (Delta Hotels Mahogany Room, 3100 Glendale Avenue)
  • 9:00am-12:00pm: Open Job Fair (Delta Hotels Mahogany Room, 3100 Glendale Avenue)
  • 12:00pm-1:15pm: Table Tear Down & Employer Lunch (Wolfe Center HEB 149, 3000 Transverse Drive)
  • 1:15pm-5:00pm: Campus Interviews by Employer Invitation Only (Wolfe Center HEB 149, 3000 Transverse Drive)

Student Parking Logistics

  • 1:15pm-5:00pm (Potential Employer Interviews): Park on the Health Science Campus

    • Students with permits A, C, D or H: Park in lot 43 near Wolfe Center, 3000 Transverse Drive

Please note that class is not cancelled on Career Launch Day. Be sure to speak with your professors about their attendance policy and to discuss how you’re able to attend if it overlaps with a conflicting class requirement. Plan to allocate 10 minutes to each employer you wish to visit during the fair. For P4s, this event does not count against your absence days for rotation and we strongly encourage all P4s to attend.  A list of participating employers will be available closer to the event.

Thank you for your interest in Career Launch Day!  Unfortunately, our capacity has been reached, and we are no longer accepting new registrations.  However, you're welcome to submit your information to this waitlist.  Should a spot become available, we will contact employers in the order of received submissions.  We appreciate your understanding.

Virtual Options Still Available: This is an in-person fair, but virtual options are still available for employers who are based 3.5+ hours from Toledo.  For information on virtual arrangements, please email joseph.battelline@utoledo.edu before registering (limited availability). 

Attending Employers: Light refreshments will be provided in the morning (i.e., coffee, water, pastries, whole fruit), and lunch will be provided.
