Variations in the CdTe absorber layer through alloying or doping has led to improved device efficiency. Additionally, alloying CdTe with ZnTe or MgTe can lead to wider bandgap materials that can be used in tandem devices. PVIC is investigating the fundamental properties and how to process these materials as well as fabricating devices. Click through the slide show to learn more about our projects.
