Research Compliance

To be added to an IBC protocol, you must complete the following training through the UToledo TestBank. Log in to UToledo TestBank

1. For BSL-1 studies
   1. Laboratory Safety training (Test #100)
2. For BSL-2 or higher studies
   1. Laboratory Safety training (Test #100)
   2. Biosafety training (Test #126)

The IBC office also offers training to support students, staff and faculty researchers who conduct research with biohazards. It is not mandatory but is encouraged if you are not familiar with the IBC process, federal regulations, UToledo policy, or best practices.
