Looking for the perfect space to hold a meeting, seminar, banquet, retirement party, wedding reception or anything in between? The Lancelot Thompson Student Union is your go-to campus destination, located just six miles west of downtown Toledo in a beautiful, residential area.
How to Reserve a Space
Step 1: Identify Your Group Type
Are you a UToledo Department or External Organization?
Please complete the Event Request Form once you have identified the space(s) you are interested in reserving.
Are you a UToledo Student Organization?
You must submit your request through InvoNet.
- Go to your organization's page
- Click "Events" in the left-hand menu
- Note: Student organizations may not have more than one recurring meeting per week in the Student Union.
Step 2: Plan for Catering
Are you planning to use Crave Catering?
Crave Catering is our dedicated campus partner, known for their exceptional service and commitment to quality. They hold the first right of refusal for all campus events.
Are you planning to use an outside catering service (not Crave Catering)?
If you choose not to use Crave Catering, you are required to complete a Food Waiver Form.
Step 3: Review Reservation Policies
We kindly ask that all reservation requests be submitted at least 28 days in advance to ensure availability and proper planning.
For events that include catering and linens, tablecloths will be provided through our catering services to ensure consistency and quality. Use of these tablecloths is required.
To help us best serve all groups, we reserve the right to cancel future reservations if spaces are repeatedly reserved but not used.
Pricing
The Student Union offers flexible event spaces with transparent, all-inclusive pricing to support a wide range of campus and community events. Below is an overview of how rates are structured to help you plan your reservation with ease.
- Rate Structure: All rates are charged per event, per day. Hourly rates are not available in the Student Union.
- What's Included: Rates are inclusive of audio/visual equipment, setup, and standard facility support.
- Rate Categories:
- Internal Rate – for University of Toledo departments and offices
- External Rate – for groups and organizations not affiliated with the University of Toledo
