The concert ensembles are a vibrant part of the Department of Music and the Band Program at UT. The Wind Ensemble and the Symphonic Band are open to all UT students and both perform several concerts throughout the year. Whether you want to be challenged as a player or just want to have fun playing music, we have an ensemble for you.
- Rocket Marching Band
The University of Toledo Rocket Marching Band is one of the largest and most visible student groups on campus! With approximately 160 musicians, dancers, twirlers, and color guard, the RMB is a positive source of pride and school spirit for you as well as the entire UT community.
The UT Band Program and its members are dedicated to a tradition of excellence! The RMB provides quality entertainment at various UT functions and athletic events, and prides itself on high levels of musical and visual performance. The 2007 RMB performed at all six home games, the Glass City Festival of Bands, and made away trips to Central Michigan University and to Cincinnati for a performance at a Bengals game. This year, we look to be just as active, delivering high-powered entertainment at every performance.
