Scholarship Information and Important Deadlines

Application Information for the 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM) offers donor scholarship opportunities to students enrolled in an NSM degree program.

Application deadlines are:

January 5, 2024 (priority deadline) - for New UToledo Students, College Credit Plus, Post-Secondary or Toledo Early College High Schools

March 1, 2024 - for Continuing, New Transfer and Graduate UToledo Students

Just a few of the available NSM Donor Scholarships include:

  • Edwin Jayamaha Scholarship:
    Eligibility:
    Scholarship awarded to undergraduate physics majors who are planning careers in renewable energy or have an applied physics concentration and preferably are enrolled in the renewable energy minor. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

  • France Stone Foundation Natural Sciences and Mathematics Scholarship:
    Eligibility:
    Scholarship awarded to students in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Scholarship requires current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid.

  • Joseph A. and Mary A. Capobianco Memorial Scholarship:
    Eligibility
    Scholarship awarded to undergraduate students in the life sciences, i.e. biology, biochemistry, chemistry and environmental sciences in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Scholarship requires current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Eligibility? Incoming first-year and incoming transfer students who are Ohio residents; U.S, citizens, national or permanent resident aliens; accepted into one of UToledo's eligible undergraduate degree programs.
