Scholarships: Incoming Freshmen
Direct from High School Scholarships
Incoming freshmen majoring in economics are eligible for $2,000 renewable scholarships. The scholarships are renewable at various amounts as long as a student continues to major in economics.
Requirements
- At least a 3.0 high school GPA and a 21 ACT composite score (or equivalent)
- Completed application

African Institute For Economic Education
Scholarship to provide funds for living expenses for African students pursuing a degree in Economics.
Betty J. Lapp Memorial Fund
Scholarship awarded to a freshman who has completed one semester, or a sophomore, in the College of Arts and Letters, with preference given to those majoring in history, economics, or political science.
Edward Shapiro Economics Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to students in the College of Arts and Letters majoring in Economics. Recipients shall be selected based on merit.
Fifth Third Bank/Willa Dean Stills Minority Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in The University of Toledo. Preference will be given to students in the College of Business and Innovation or majors in Finance, Business or Economics.
