Greater Toledo International Youth Orchestra - GTiYO
Founded in 2013 by Yang Kun Song, the GTiYO is a string orchestra that performs a
diverse repertoire, including traditional and modern Chinese music, as well as Western
compositions. Students travel and perform internationally, to experience other cultures
in the pursuit of the GTiYO's mission of Bridging Cultural Diversity through Music.
Recent travel/performance includes Ferrara, Italy (2023), and Toyohashi, Japan (2024).
The GTiYO is a proud partner of the UToledo Department of Music. Auditions are open
