COBI Computing Department

As you’ve been notified, The University of Toledo has canceled classes on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th. Beginning Wednesday, March 18th until Monday, March 30th, there will be no in-person (face-to-face) classes and you will be notified by your instructors how to access and complete your classes via email or some online method during that time.

While campus facilities remain open, the University is encouraging preventative measures, including following the recommendation of the CDC that individuals practice “social distancing” — avoiding large crowds and putting extra distance between yourself and others (6 feet of separation). Because of this - The COBI Student Retention and Academic Success Office will remain open but assist students with undergraduate advising mainly by phone or by email until March 30, 2020. Providing our quality services to you is our utmost goal along with doing our best to ensure everyone’s safety.

Given that this is a developing situation, we are striving to do our best to serve you within the guidelines set for us. Please be patient as we work together within the changing policies and demands. Check your email and our website frequently for updates to the situation.

Further information is being added to the FAQs section of the university’s evolving response website.

The College Computing Department (CCD) is one of the Information Technology department satellite field offices assisting faculty, staff, and students in College of Business and Innovation with IT resources and support services for teaching, learning, and research.
