The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation's Business Career Programs Office offers numerous professional events each semester to connect business students with employers. These events are open to business majors and minors only and include:

Sept. 9–10, 2026, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Savage & Associates Business Complex Atrium

A casual networking event where business students can connect with employers in a relaxed, approachable setting. Meet representatives from a variety of organizations, build meaningful connections and get a head start before the upcoming job fair.

Prep and Polish: Mock Interviews and Resume Reviews

Sept. 23-24, 2026, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Savage & Associates Business Complex 4120 A

Open to all business students, this event offers mock interviews and resume critiques led by industry professionals. Students will receive personalized feedback to strengthen their interview skills, refine their resumes and prepare for the upcoming Fall Job Fair.

Network in-person with employers seeking to hire Business Rockets like you for internships and full-time positions. Please come dressed professionally, with multiple copies of your resume and your Rocket ID.

Cocktail Hour and Etiquette Dinner

Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

Lancelot Thompson Student Union 2592

A formal dining experience designed to help business students develop professional dining and networking skills. Students will practice proper etiquette in a guided, real-world setting while building confidence for future business interactions.
