THE VIRTUAL CODE CART

AN INTERACTIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE PROMOTING COMPETENCY & PROFICIENCY

The University of Toledo has created new educational software that provides medical personnel access to a code cart with all of the essential medication, supplies and equipment without the need to have an actual cart.  The Virtual Code Cart (VCC) is an engaging and interactive program that promotes knowledge and recognition of the contents of a code cart and item location to build proficiency and enhance performance during the operation of an actual life-threatening code.

The Virtual Code Cart offers various levels of operation that progress from simply discovering items and location to the increase complexity of locating items as needed through actual code scenarios.
