Greek Life

Welcome to Panhel

Welcome to the University of Toledo’s Panhellenic Association Webpage!

I am so excited that you are interested in learning more about Greek Life here at UToledo. This website is a resource for your learning, and includes information about all of the Panhellenic chapters we have at UToledo, council demographics, how to get involved, and information about Greek Life as a whole.

The Panhellenic Association is comprised of nine different NPC organizations including

Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Phi Epsilon, Kappa Delta, Phi Sigma Rho, and Pi Beta Phi. All together, the Panhellenic Association is home to over 450 women who all value friendship, leadership, service, knowledge, integrity, and community. Each one of these women also brings a unique aspect to the community which makes this council so special.

Greek Life at UToledo is one of the best ways to get involved on campus. A campus that has over 15,000 students immediately feels small and intimate once joining Greek Life. Greek Life serves as a portal to so many opportunities, both professional and personal, which in return make the campus feel like home almost instantly. As the Panhellenic President, I have the honor to help facilitate these opportunities to grow the community and individuals that comprise such a distinctive organization. Our goals as an organization are to foster lifelong friendships, encourage leadership, develop high moral character, and prepare women for life after college.

In the most sincere way, Greek Life has changed my life in all of those ways. The friendships that I have created throughout the entire Panhellenic Association have been some of the deepest bonds I have ever been lucky enough to have. I have also had the opportunity to grow into a leader that I would never have dreamt of being at the beginning of my college career. Different opportunities during my involvement have taught me many lessons in hard work, leadership, dedication, and passion which have allowed me to grow into the person I am today. My hope with my position is to create an experience similar to mine for all members within our organization.

As I said earlier, this website is a resource for you to gain more knowledge about Greek Life. Myself, others on my executive team, and the professional staff in the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership also serve as a resource to help guide you and answer any questions you may have. Please take a look around this webpage, our Panhellenic Association website, and our social media (@utpanhel)  to get a better idea of all that we are. I hope that you find the Greek Life experience to be as valuable as I have.

 Go Rockets and Go Greek,

 Emma Cummiskey

2023 Panhellenic President
