Counselor Education Accreditation and External Review

The Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling concentration and the Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education with a School Counseling concentration are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The PhD in Counselor Education is accredited as such by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) located at 1001 North Fairfax Street, Suite 510, Alexandria, VA 22314, Telephone 703.535.5990. 

The Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling concentration has been reviewed and approved by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board as meeting the academic requirements for licensure as a Professional Counselor and a Professional Clinical Counselor.
