Michael G. Kadens
Professor of Law Emeritus
Professor Emeritus Michael G. Kadens, a faculty member since 1976, is a graduate of University of Michigan (B.A.) and Stanford University (J.D.) and a former Associate Dean.
Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Kadens practiced corporate and securities law in Chicago, and was an executive of an investment banking firm and a real estate investment trust in Cleveland.
Professor Kadens has been active in a number of professional and civic organizations including the Toledo Bar Association, the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (Board member 1990-1997), Insurance Law Section, Association of American Law Schools (Chairman-1996).
In addition, Professor Kadens has published in the fields of insurance law and tax planning.
