Hon. Myron C. Duhart

Hon. Myron C. DuhartMyron C. Duhart has been a judge of the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, General Division since 2011. He is a graduate of Wright State University and the University of Toledo College of Law, and he also attended the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Judge Duhart teaches trial practice at Toledo Law.

Prior to taking the bench, Judge Duhart was in private practice for many years in the areas of personal injury and criminal defense. He litigated a number of high profile criminal cases and was Rule 20 certified to litigate death penalty cases. Judge Duhart also served as a First Lieutenant in the Unites States Army JAG Corps.

Judge Duhart is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. A member of the Ohio State and Lucas County Bar Associations, he presently serves on the board of directors for the Toledo Bar Association. He also serves on The University of Toledo Alumni Board of Directors and The University of Toledo Law Affiliate Board of Governors.
