Charles McDonald

Charles McDonald is an experienced trial attorney, having tried over fifty cases including: aggravated murder, murder, rape, trafficking in persons, felonious assault, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, sexual battery, and pandering obscenity involving a minor.
He has tried cases as a public defender, assistant Lucas County prosecutor, and currently as an assistant Wood County prosecutor. In Wood County, he specializes in crimes against children and chairs the Wood County Crimes Against Children Task Force.
McDonald has been trained in mobile forensics and digital evidence by the United States Secret Service, and regularly works with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He has elicited expert testimony at trial in digital evidence, social media applications, abusive head trauma in infants, forensic ballistic and firearms evidence, child abuse disclosure, and coroner testimony.
He graduated from the Cleveland State University College of Law in 2010. Currently, he teaches Trial Practice.
