The Research Experience and Awareness of Clinical Health (REACH) program is a two-week summer clinical and research experience program that exposes high school students, particularly those who are are of a low social economic status or disadvantaged, to clinical research and clinical experiences. The nationally recognized program offers students a meaningful experience in a variety of health-related clinical settings which stimulates an interest towards careers in the health sciences.  

Mission Statement

The Research Experience and Awareness of Clinical Health (REACH) program is committed to empowering high school students from underrepresented, disadvantaged, or low socioeconomic backgrounds by providing comprehensive hands-on experiences in both clinical and research environments. Through immersive engagement in inclusive healthcare settings, students gain exposure to cutting-edge medical practices, scientific inquiry, and interdisciplinary collaboration. REACH aims not only to inspire curiosity and passion for the health sciences but also to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and mentorship needed to pursue higher education and leadership roles in the field. By fostering an inclusive learning environment, REACH is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of compassionate, innovative, and resilient healthcare professionals who are prepared to address the evolving challenges of global health.
