Dr. Subramanian’s clinical and translational research interests are in a wide range of neurological disorders with bridging interests across disciplines within medicine, biology and engineering. He has held NIH R01 grants as a Principal Investigator for over 25 years focused on understanding the pathophysiology of Parkinson’s disease and related disorders, and he has participated in several federal and non-federal grants as co-PI or co-investigator. He has a track record of peer reviewed scientific publications including several seminal articles that are highly cited. His scientific contributions have advanced all modalities of therapeutic options currently available for Parkinson’s disease.
