Looking for the perfect space to hold a meeting, seminar, banquet, retirement party, wedding reception or anything in between? The Lancelot Thompson Student Union is your go-to campus destination, located just six miles west of downtown Toledo in a beautiful, residential area.
Event Spaces
From small meeting rooms to large venues, the Student Union offers spaces for student organizations, university departments, and community groups to host events of all sizes.
How to Reserve
Step 1: Identify Your Group Type
- University Department & External Group
- UToledo Student Organization
Step 2: Submit Your Request
University Departments & External Group:
- Complete the Event Request Form after identifying your desired space
UToledo Student Organization:
- Submit requests through InvoNet
- Access your organization page and select “Events”
- Note: Student organizations may not have more than one recurring meeting per week in the Student Union.
Step 3: Review Reservation Protocols
Review the Facility Reservation Protocols before your event.

Pricing
The Student Union offers transparent, all-inclusive pricing for a variety of event spaces.
- Rates are charged per event, per day (hourly rates not available)
- Pricing includes standard setup, audio/visual equipment, and facility support
- Rates vary for internal (UToledo departments and organizations) and external (non-university) groups.
