The University of Toledo offers targeted Academic Recovery Programs designed to support students who are experiencing academic difficulty. These programs provide structured guidance, accountability, and personalized support to help students rebuild strong academic habits and return to good academic standing.
Support for students on academic alert, warning, or just those needing to get back on track:
- Targeted advising and success planning
- Success coaching and workshops
- Restorative support—not punitive action
Rocket Reboot
Rocket Reboot is a targeted support program that helps students on academic alert build stronger academic habits and get back on track for success.
Rocket Recharge
Rocket Recharge is a structured, high-touch support program for students on academic warning, offering weekly academic coaching, study strategies, and accountability to help improve academic performance.
Reinstatement Procedure - After first-time suspension
First-time suspended students who have been away from the University of Toledo for one semester must follow the reinstatement procedure to request readmission.
Readmit Procedure - after second suspension or dismissal
Students with a second suspension, dismissal status, or who have been away for two or more consecutive semesters must follow the admission readmission procedures.
Appeal Procedures
Students seeking to appeal their academic suspension or academic dismissal must follow the academic appeal procedures.
