Openings and Requirements

Thank you for your interest in our residency program. We recruit each year for three categorical positions:

 PGY1's matching for July 2013 will begin as a PGY1 at the University of Toledo in Internal Medicine.

Minimum qualifications for our program are as follows:

 Degree from an LCME accredited medical school for US and Canadian graduates.

 USMLE scores of 210 or above on part I and part II; exceptions may be made for candidates with prior experience in Neurology (clinical or research), and for University of Toledo graduates.

 A valid ECFMG certificate for Foreign Medical Graduates.

 US citizenship, permanent residency or eligibility for J1 or H1B visa.

Three (3) letters of recommendation preferably from physicians licensed to practice in the US or Canada.

 US Clinical experience is preferred.

Medical school graduation within five (5) years is preferred.

 Application must be received by December 1 of the appropriate match year.

 You must submit your application through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).  Documents sent outside of ERAS will not become part of your application.

 If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an email from the program. 

You must participate and register for the NRMP Main Match.
