Undecided Bachelor's Degree Overview

The University of Toledo knows you may not have a clue what you want to do with the rest of your life.

That’s why we offer the QUEST program for undecided students.

Offered through the Department of Exploratory Studies, QUEST allows you to take up to three semesters to choose a major.

During that time, you’ll have access to specialized success coaches, academic advisers and course work. You'll also take the core classes all students need to earn a bachelor's degree. You won't get behind in your undergraduate course requirements, so you’ll still be on track to graduate with your classmates.

Contact the Department of Exploratory Studies at 419.530.3142 to learn more about the QUEST program for undecided undergraduate students. Or visit with QUEST student ambassadors at the following on-campus events for prospective undergraduate students:

Find out what interests you by taking part in chemistry lab demonstrations, music performances, art exhibits, guest lectures and more.

Honors program. Even if your major is undeclared, you can apply to participate in UToledo's Jesup Scott Honors College. High-achieving, highly motivated undergraduate students have opportunities to enrich their college educations with challenging course work and fun activities.

Our Alumni

"UToledo has many programs and resources available for students who are undecided. It really does a fantastic job with helping undecided students find what they are passionate about and what they want to do in life."
Dionte Ervin, 2016 QUEST student

"When you're an undecided student, your options are unlimited. You can start taking core classes that can go toward more than one major before getting too deep and having to start from the beginning."
Ariana Mays, 2016 QUEST student
