Student Life
Students in the Department of Art participate in many events and special activities throughout the year. The UT Art Student League is the main way to stay in touch with what's happening in the department. On their Facebook page, students can find information on upcoming events: including, social gatherings, job opportunities, important dates, and much more. Their purpose is twofold; to strengthen the quality of art majors’ experiences and provide an outlet for majors and non-majors interested in art.
It's about taking a risk; following another path; experimenting and failing-and trying again; sharing ideas; building friendships; mentorship; giving it your all; making it through the tough times; the rush of succeeding; that's what IT is.
