In 2015, a black, female professor at a prominent Christian college wore a hijab and said that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. The political firestorm and theological debates that followed provide important insight into how religious communities contend with issues of race, religious tolerance and academic freedom.

Join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary, followed by a discussion with the film's subject, Dr. Larycia Hawkins.

This event is supported by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Jesup Scott Honors College, School of Interdisciplinary Studies, Department of Gender and Women's Studies, Center of the Muslim Woman, and Department of Theater and Film.
