Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology
The Department of Psychology at The University of Toledo seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in developmental psychology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in developmental psychology or a related field. Applicants are expected to have a strong research background and demonstrated ability to develop a successful program of research. Applicants are also asked to provide evidence of teaching potential. Responsibilities include mentoring doctoral students, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, serving as a core member of the experimental psychology doctoral training program, collaborating with faculty within and outside the department on research, and serving the department, college, and university through various activities and roles. The specific area of specialization is open, although candidates whose research complements our current faculty and program interests are especially encouraged to apply. In addition, we are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates whose research focuses on underrepresented populations and/or who have experience mentoring underrepresented minority students.
