John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation

The JumpStart Program is a free four-day experience for incoming students in the Neff College of Business and Innovation that helps participants build connections, discover opportunities and become part of the Neff community before classes begin. 

Through interactions with faculty, staff, current students and business professionals, participants gain an early introduction to the people, resources and experiences that support success at Neff. Students leave JumpStart with new friendships, valuable connections and the confidence to hit the ground running when the semester starts. 

The program includes early residence hall move-in, company visits, a Toledo Mud Hens game and dinner in downtown Toledo, a visit to Urban Air Adventure Park, a Veo scooter campus tour, a scavenger hunt, college readiness presentations from faculty and guest speakers, and more. 

Jumpstart 2026 will run from August 23-26.
