COBI OFFICE OF GRADUATE PROGRAMS

Welcome to the College of Business and Innovation Office of Graduate Programs at The University of Toledo!

Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Office of Graduate Programs will be working remotely to assist you with your requests. At this time, we will not have campus tours or recruiting events on campus. Virtual appointments are available for students interested in COBI graduate programs. Interested individuals should email kelly.barger@utoledo.edu or call 419-407-6973 to set up a virtual appointment. We will also still have graduate students available to discuss their student experience.

If you have questions regarding classroom management or modes of curriculum delivery, please contact your professor directly. Professors' contact information and times of availability can be found on the course syllabi.

  • Stacy Jenkins (Stacy.Jenkins@utoledo.edu) will assist admitted MBA students not in the global program.
  • Darlene Evans (Darlene.Evans@utoledo.edu; 419.530-5682) will assist EMBA students and Global MBA students (those affiliated with PSG Institute of Management or Vidyalankar Institute of Technology). Darlene will schedule phone and WebEx appointments and respond to voicemails within 48 hrs.

The mission of the Office of Graduate Programs is to improve the human condition; to advance knowledge through excellence in learning, discovery and engagement; and to serve as a diverse, customer-centered graduate program service center.

Professional MBA Program (MBA)

The Professional MBA program is the only MBA program in Northwest Ohio to offer a flexible completion plan as well as 9 areas of concentration. The Professional MBA program is designed for individuals who want to take their career to the next level in an academic program that gives them exposure to all areas of the business enterprise while providing an opportunity to focus on a specific area of interest.

Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA)

The MSA program is designed to prepare students for professional careers in accounting by fulfilling the requirements to sit for the uniform CPA exam in the state of Ohio. Admission is open to all applicants regardless of undergraduate study.

Master of Applied Business Analytics (MABA) & Master of Science in Applied Business Analytics (MS) Program

The Master of Applied Business Analytics program may be completed on a full-time (1 calendar year) or part-time (2 calendar years) with 30 credits, plus a maximum of 12 credits of pre-requisites and a required internship (part of 30 credits). The program is a unique combination of one functional area of business and a breadth of courses in business analytics capped by an internship at your place of work or at a new employer.

Executive MBA Program (EMBA)

The Executive MBA program at The University of Toledo is the most affordable AACSB-accredited EMBA program in the United States that can be completed in 12 months. The EMBA program is designed specifically for individuals who have several years of managerial experience and is delivered in a flexible hybrid format of in-person and tech-enhanced instruction, with only one on-campus weekend per month.

Executive Master of Sales Leadership (EMSL)

Designed to address the professional development needs of sales leaders and senior sales professionals seeking advancement and improved sales organizational results. The Executive Master of Sales Leadership program at The University of Toledo is one of only two AACSB-accredited programs of its kind in the United States and can be completed in just 15 months. The EMSL program is designed specifically for sales professionals who are currently in (or destined to be in) roles of sales leadership or sales management.  The EMSL curriculum is delivered in a flexible hybrid format which is primarily online with face-to-face weekend residences only four times throughout the program.

Doctor of Philosophy in Manufacturing and Technology Management (Ph.D.)

The Ph.D. program offers a degree that prepares students to meet standards of excellence in and contribute to the manufacturing management field through research, teaching and publications. This is the premier program educating tomorrow's faculty today.
