Enrollment information and process
The Early Learning Center enrolls infants through preschool-aged children year-round, based on classroom space and availability. To inquire about current openings, please email EarlyLearnCTR@UToledo.edu.
Please be advised that our administrative team is frequently engaged in supporting classroom operations, which may result in delayed response times. We sincerely appreciate your patience and will respond to your inquiry as promptly as possible.
Waiting List
Due to the high demand of quality early childhood education programs, families may have to be placed on a waiting list before space comes available. To be placed on our waiting list, please complete our Pre-Enrollment Form. Priority enrollment is reserved for UToledo students, faculty and staff.
Determining Eligibility
Before a child can be enrolled, families must participate in a center tour to determine their child’s eligibility. During this time, families will be able to see the entire center, including visiting the classrooms, gym and play areas. We highly encourage families to come with any questions they may have – our experienced team is happy to provide answers!
Getting Started
Once enrollment eligibility is determined and a start date is established, all families must complete a center orientation before their child’s first day of attendance. During this orientation, families will spend time in the classroom, meeting the teachers and seeing the classroom in action. This will also allow families an opportunity to share any pertinent information with our team. Our administrative team will ensure all required paperwork is completed during the orientation.
A non-refundable $50.00 registration fee per child will be assessed at time of enrollment. This fee covers the Early Learning Center's administrative costs for providing an individualized tour and orientation for families, processing the child’s enrollment application, creating a new enrollment file, configuring billing, etc.
A complete physical examination by a licensed physician is required to enroll children. All children attending the ELC must have the appropriate immunizations required by the State Department of Health.
The Early Learning Center does not discriminate based on the basis of race, religion, color, creed or national origin.
