Doing Right Spotlight 2025

The Doing Right Spotlight, supported by the Robert and Donna Martin Family, recognizes businesses that prioritize more than just success—they create positive change in the lives of their employees and the communities they serve. Each year, we highlight companies that lead with integrity, compassion, and a dedication to doing what’s right, whether through philanthropy, employee-focused initiatives, or community-driven efforts that leave a lasting impact.

In 2025, we are proud to celebrate Nysus Solutions, Principle Business Enterprises (PBE), and Ohio Logistics—three companies that are leading with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to giving back. Their dedication to uplifting others, fostering strong workplace cultures, and investing in their communities demonstrates the profound impact businesses can have beyond the workplace.

Watch their stories below and be inspired by how they are making a difference.

Nysus Solutions

Nysus Solutions is a manufacturing execution software and process automation provider dedicated to solving challenges for manufacturing organizations across North America. Headquartered in Maumee, Ohio, with team members in the southern United States and Mexico, the company is guided by core values of being passionate, united, and thankful. Nysus fosters a culture of recognition through quarterly meetings and a profit-sharing program, ensuring that all employees share in the company’s success. Driven by their value of thankfulness, Nysus is committed to giving back to the community, supporting local charities, and encouraging employees to volunteer their time and talents.

Since 2021, Nysus has built a strong partnership with The Victory Project, a nonprofit offering young people an alternative to life on the streets. Their financial contributions, which have exceeded expectations each year, have significantly impacted the organization’s ability to meet its fundraising goals. Additionally, Nysus employees volunteer and support programs like Habitat for Humanity’s Playhouse Build, creating playhouses that bring joy to local children, and Cherry Street Mission Ministries, which provides comprehensive services to help individuals transition from homelessness to independence. Through financial donations and hands-on involvement, Nysus Solutions demonstrates its commitment to supporting the community, making a lasting difference while leading by example.

Principle Business Enterprises, Inc (PBE)

Principle Business Enterprises (PBE), founded in 1961, is a third-generation, family-owned company dedicated to improving lives through high-quality adult incontinence products. Their mission, rooted in ethical principles, is to uplift, enlighten, and enrich both their consumers and employees. PBE focuses on meeting the needs of individuals with heavy to severe incontinence, providing products that offer comfort and dignity. For their employees, known as Associates, the company fosters a respectful and supportive workplace with fair pay, excellent benefits, and comprehensive leadership training, emphasizing the importance of how employees are treated in their daily work environment.

Beyond the workplace, PBE is deeply committed to supporting its community. Through the Principle Business Fund, established in 2006, employees can nominate local nonprofits to receive annual grants of up to $5,000, benefiting over 90 organizations to date. Recognizing the prevalence of domestic violence among its workforce, PBE partnered with The Cocoon, Wood County’s domestic and sexual violence agency, to create the Champions of Change program. This initiative trains supervisors in bystander intervention and trauma-informed care, promoting a zero-tolerance workplace for violence. By addressing the real-life challenges employees face, PBE not only improves individual well-being but also inspires greater community involvement, creating a ripple effect of compassion and support.

Ohio Logistics

Ohio Logistics, founded in 1988, has grown from a single 40,000-square-foot warehouse in Findlay, Ohio, to nearly 10 million square feet across multiple states by 2025. With over 450 associates, the company provides warehousing, transportation, and supply chain solutions, supporting industries like automotive and manufacturing. Rooted in a culture of respect and care, Ohio Logistics fosters a family atmosphere where leadership takes a personal interest in employees’ lives, celebrating milestones and providing support during difficult times. This culture reflects the company’s core belief that success comes from investing in both its people and the communities where it operates.

Committed to giving back, Ohio Logistics supports numerous nonprofits, many chosen based on employees' passions. Inspired by early lessons from Findlay’s business leaders, the company combines financial donations with hands-on involvement, encouraging associates to volunteer through programs like Habitat for Humanity and the Distribution of Kindness initiative. Their long-standing partnership with Flag City Honor Flight has helped fund flights for veterans to visit Washington, D.C., with one event raising over $100,000 to sponsor an entire flight. By balancing business growth with community investment, Ohio Logistics exemplifies how companies can create lasting, positive impacts on both individuals and society.
