Bio
Amy Both, M.H.S., P.T., received her M.H.S. in Health Science with an emphasis on
Pediatric Neurological Rehabilitation from the University of Indianapolis and her
B.S. in Physical Therapy from the Ohio State University. She has been a faculty member
in the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Toledo since 1994.
Ms. Both teaches Lifespan I -Gross Motor Development in Children, Neuromuscular Rehabilitation II-Pediatric Neurorehabilitation, Special Topics in PT-Pediatric Elective and Professional Issues in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. In addition, she serves as the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE) for the program. As the ACCE she organizes clinical placements for students from all three classes and supervises these placements with the University’s contracted clinical sites.
Ms. Both is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the Pediatric Section and Education Section. Her research interests include examining topics related to pediatric physical therapy and clinical education. Currently, she is looking at prone play recommendations in child care facilities.
