Professional Biography
As a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BS in Business Administration Jeanine has been involved in all levels of ideation leading to venture creation and ongoing operational processes.
She worked at Monroe Publishing Company for 25 years as Marketing Manager and Sales Director. While at the publishing company Jeanine was involved in the research, development, and sales of all new products and divisions. The Publishing company launched several specialty publications, a commercial print division, published over 20 books, started a print shop and an advertising agency, under her direction. She also helped clients with marketing strategies and implementation. She has provided guidance on customer discovery, identification of a value proposition, feasibility studies, development of new products, basic and applied research, budget and financial forecasting, and the specific launch of spinouts and products.
With more than 25 years as an advisor and Mentor to individuals and ventures, she currently works in The UToledo Business Incubator with both tech-based researchers and entrepreneurs. She assists with Business Model development and project advancement using the Business Model Canvas to enable clients to translate their ideas and technology into reality.
Meeting with more than 60 companies in the Northwest Ohio region in 2023 demonstrates a proactive approach to economic development.
By engaging with these companies, the Incubator staff can understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, ultimately fostering growth and innovation in the local economy. It's essential to establish strong relationships with these companies to support their development and contribute to the overall economic vitality of the region.
