Welcome to the Department of Teacher Education!
Programs housed within this department include undergraduate and graduate licensure programs in early childhood education, higher education and special education (intervention specialist licenses in mild/moderate, moderate/intensive, MR/DD early intervention certificate, preschool special needs, and the transition to work endorsement). In addition to initial-level licensure programs, the department supports graduate programs that deepen students' level of understanding in the areas listed above. Department faculty members are experts in their fields as well as experts in preparing undergraduate and graduate students for successful careers in their chosen profession.
