Adult Psychiatry

Located in the Ruppert Health Center on the grounds of the Health Science Campus, the Department of Psychiatry Adult Division utilizes a biopsychosocial approach to the understanding of human behavior and feelings in all people, and in particular, in patients with psychiatric disorders. The psychiatric diagnosis and treatment of a patient is provided in a comprehensive and thorough fashion, concentrating on the individual's physical and psychological makeup.  

Adult outpatient services include:

  • Psychiatric clinic providing evaluation, Psychotherapies and psychopharmacologic treatment
  • Behavioral medicine clinic, with emphasis on stress management, relaxation therapies, biofeedback-assisted psychotherapy, behavioral management and hypnotherapy
  • Neuropsychiatric clinic, providing evaluation and treatment
  • Neuropsychological assessment center

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Located in the Kobacker Center on the grounds of the Health Science Campus, the Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Division utilizes a biopsychosocial approach to the understanding of human behavior and feelings in children and adolescents, and in particular, in those who have psychiatric disorders. The psychiatric diagnosis and treatment of a patient is provided in a comprehensive and thorough fashion, concentrating on the individual's physical and psychological makeup.

Child and adolescent outpatient services include:

  • Psychiatric clinic providing evaluation, Psychotherapies and psychopharmacologic treatment
  • Psychological Assessment Center

Child and adolescent day treatment services

Child and Adolescent inpatient services:

  • Child psychiatric inpatient unit
  • Adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit
  • Consultation liaison services
