COSTS AND FINANCIAL AID
The cost of attendance for the UToledo Physician Assistant Program changes slightly from year to year, as the tuition rate and other expenses for full-time graduate students may change annually.

* Direct costs include tuition, general fees, university fee's and lab fees. The direct costs do not include living expenses, books and personal expenses.
Students are also responsible for following expenses (not included in the direct costs):
- Program Deposit ($1,000, non-refundable starting February 1, 2024)
- Medical Equipment ($800)
- End of Rotation exam retake, if needed ($35)
- PACKRAT, if third exam is needed ($45)
- End of Curriculum exam retake, if needed ($99)
- Board review course, if needed ($190-$350)
Students who are residents of Monroe County, Michigan, will pay in-state tuition plus $1 out-of-state surchage per semester.

Scholarships are awarded to admitted students via an application process. The application will be emailed mid-summer to all newly admitted students.
Financial aid for graduate students is available through numerous government loan programs (like Stafford student loans) and private sources.
NOTE: Government-subsidized financial aid is not available to students admitted under Conditional Status.
