Bio:

Professor Czech started his journey in medicine as a Hospital Corpsman/Field Medical Technician in the United States Navy. He served on active duty for 7 years, spending 4 years embedded in USMC infantry, scout snipers, and in the aid station at 2d Reconnaissance Battalion. He served a tour of duty in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in Scout Sniper Team 1, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marines from 2012-2013. After leaving active duty, he attended the University of Toledo Physician Assistant Program, working in acute care settings such as emergency medicine and urgent care before becoming principal faculty in the program and transitioning to family medicine. Professor Czech strives to bring the best out of his students in both the classroom and clinical setting, challenging them to continually improve their knowledge, skills, and clinical competence. As a primary care provider in family medicine, he aims to provide comprehensive care for all patient populations, emphasizing rapport and a respectful, compassionate bedside manner.
