Reputation Campaign

As part of our Strategic Plan goal to improve and strengthen our national and international reputation, the Office of Marketing and Communications developed a monthly promotional series to highlight innovative research and niche academic programs.

Goal: Increase national and international awareness of the breadth and scope of UToledo research initiatives and related academic offerings
Marketing objectives:

  • Increase UToledo’s position in U.S. News World Report’s top 100 public, national, research university ranking, as well as in other national and international ranking systems appropriate to graduate and professional schools
  • Enhance the national and international prominence of UToledo faculty, staff and administrators

Audience: Higher education industry leaders 
Strategy: The campaign included six direct mail pieces mailed to peer educators, seven targeted emails with embedded video links, digital marketing campaigns in industry-specific publications and a campaign-specific website showcasing the monthly features
