Heather Lutz was appointed to the Professional Staff Council as a Presidential Appointee
in 2026. Heather has been a proud member of The University of Toledo community since
2006. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Master’s degree in
College Student Personnel with an emphasis in Sports Administration from Kansas State
University.
Heather currently serves as Director of Enrollment Events & Visits, where she leads campus visit experiences and enrollment events designed to help prospective students and families experience what makes UToledo special. Prior to joining Strategic Enrollment Management, she spent nearly 20 years in UToledo Athletics, most recently serving as Associate Athletic Director for Marketing, Sales & Fan Experience.
Throughout her career at UToledo, Heather has been passionate about creating engaging, high-energy experiences that bring people together, build connections and showcase what makes the Rocket community special.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and friends and supporting the Rockets.
