New Prescriptions - We accept prescriptions from your medical provider. You can bring the prescription directly to either one of the UT Outpatient Pharmacies or your healthcare professional may contact us at:

Transfer Prescriptions - It is easy to have a prescription transferred. You may bring your prescription bottle with you or use the prescription transfer form located on the web site and fax it in.

Refills - Refills can be ordered by using our automated refill line at  Main Campus (419) 530-3471 or HSC (419) 383-3750.  If you do not have refills, please contact your health care professional.  You may be required to visit your physician for a follow-up appointment or the physician’s office may have additional questions for you before renewing your prescription.

Over-the-Counter - We have a section of health-related items and products including first aid supplies, cold and cough medications, personal hygiene items, vitamin supplements, shampoo, and more.  Shop and compare to see that our prices are very competitive!

Pharmacy Counseling - Stop in any time to talk to our friendly pharmacy staff about your medications or medication-related issues. Our highly trained staff are available to counsel every patient regarding their current or new prescriptions. Please call and talk to a pharmacist if you are having an adverse reaction to a medication or need additional information. We will be happy to talk to you! 

Medication Therapy Management (MTMs) - MTMs are in-depth counseling sessions that we provide to help you get the most out of your medications. We can accomplish this by actively managing your drug therapy and by identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related problems. The service includes medication reviews, pharmacotherapy consults, anticoagulation management, and health and wellness programs.

Immunizations-

Smoking Cessation - Considering kicking the habit? Our pharmacists can help give you tips and strategies for quitting smoking for good! Stop in and see any of our pharmacists for more information. 

Pick up times
Thirty-day prescriptions that you bring in, have called in, or are faxed by your provider by 10:00 A.M. (on a business day) will be available after 3:00 P.M.. that same day. Orders placed after 3:00 P.M., will be available for pick-up after noon the next business day. (This does not include weekends and holidays.) Please allow 2 business days for processing a 90 day supply.

Prescriptions that are needed prior to the times identified above should be presented in person or phone contact should be made with a pharmacy staff member to express urgency. In an urgent situation involving a 90-day supply, every effort will be made to fill the complete order. However, if under 2 business days, the pharmacy may not have the full quantity of medication and you may need to return at a later date to pick up the remainder of your order.

On-line and phone refill services are available 24 hours a day for your convenience.
