Changes at Main Campus Pharmacy

To protect you as well as our pharmacy staff during this pandemic, we are implementing changes at Main Campus Pharmacy. This is an ever-changing situation, so please watch for updates on our website, but we wanted to communicate what we are planning at this time.

The waiting room for the pharmacy is now reopen with safety precautions in place.  We will continue to offer"curbside pickup" at Main Campus Pharmacy.

Once registered (using the first seven digits of your Main Campus Pharmacy prescription number), you will be able to use the app to request refills, get notifications that your prescription is ready, see your prescription profile, let us know you are outside the pharmacy to pick up your medications, etc. Be sure to choose to "allow notifications".

If you do not have our app and you don't currently get texts/emails when your prescriptions are ready, please call and ask to receive "Rx Ready" notifications.

Ordering Prescriptions:

  • Refills: order through our Rxlocal app, our website (www.utoledo.edu/outpatientpharmacy) or phone system (419-530-3471, option 2)
  • New prescriptions: request them to be filled (and give us an estimated pick up time) by messaging us through the app or calling 419-530-3471
  • After you receive notification that your prescription(s) are ready, we would recommend you check your app (or call) to see if everything you are expecting is filled before you come. If you give us permission to bill your credit card, we will try to get the prescription billed and ready for pick up.
  • Be sure to let us know when you are coming and if someone else is picking up your prescription, we will need to know who.
  • Certain medications are currently being allocated from our wholesaler.  Please plan ahead.  Prescriptions may not be able to be filled on the same day as required

Picking up prescriptions:

For those choosing to have prescriptions delivered "curbside" Message us via the app (or call) to let us know when you are outside the pharmacy. Please provide the following:

  • How many and/or what prescriptions you are expecting.
  • Do you have a credit card we can bill?
  • Vehicle description
  • Remember to check your prescriptions before you leave to be sure you received what you expected. Message us or call us immediately if there is an issue.
  • When you receive a new or changed prescription, please call 419-530-3471 (option 0) and ask to speak to a pharmacist for a medication consultation) during business hours.

Over-the-Counter Medications:

We have limited quantities of certain over-the-counter medications. Please call if there is something you need and we will try to help you out if possible using the same "curbside" pick-up procedures as for prescriptions.

We do not currently have rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, masks or thermometers.

New Patient?

Call 419-530-3471 (option 0) to talk to a pharmacy staff member who can set up your patient profile, take your insurance information, set you up for notifications and start the process of filling your medication(s). After picking up your first prescription, you will be able to register for our app.

Meet our Staff:




Monica Hogrefe, PharmD, BCACP - Pharmacy Manager                                                                                          

Monica has been a Staff Pharmacist at the Main Campus Pharmacy since January of 2015. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy in May 2011 from The University of Findlay.  

Certified Pharmacy Technicians: 

Patricia Connor has been with Main Campus Pharmacy since May 2012, but worked at the Health Science Campus Outpatient Pharmacy from November 2010-May 2012. Patty is also assisting in the Sports Medicine program, which provides medications to our student athletes.  

Raymond Corggens has been with UT since August 2016.  

Jessie Null has been with UT since August 2019

The University of Toledo Outpatient Pharmacies are primary training sites for the UT College of Pharmacy. Students in the  professional division of pharmacy school are placed here for training and rotate on a monthly basis and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science students participate in ten week practicum rotations.
