When you enroll in any University of Toledo sponsored medical plan, you are automatically enrolled in comprehensive prescription coverage. For specific details on the medical and prescription plans, please visit the benefits website.
CerpassRx is the pharmacy benefits partner for administering the prescription benefit. Visit CerpassRx.com to create or log into your member portal. From the portal you can access medications, view lower cost alternatives, track your prescription spend and much more.
The University of Toledo maintains four outpatient pharmacies across multiple locations. Each pharmacy is equipped to fulfill your differing prescription needs. For your convenience, refills can be ordered through the Rx Local mobile application, found on the benefits website.
TIPS regarding your prescription benefit:
- University of Toledo Outpatient pharmacies are full service pharmacies that strive to provide exceptional care to their patients.
- Onsite UToledo pharmacies offer convenient hours of operation for easy pick up of your prescriptions during the work day. The pharmacies also provide alternative routes of prescription pick up, such as curb-side delivery or prescription mailing.
- UToledo Pharmacies are the preferred pharmacy on the plan. Prescriptions up to a 14 day supply are allowed to be filled at non University of Toledo pharmacies for emergency medications and once per year for maintenance medications.

- Medications classified as specialty medications must be filled at the UT Access Pharmacy within the Comprehensive Care Center on Glendale Ave. Our dedicated team will direct you to the care you need.
- If the cost of the medication is lesser than your copay, you pay the lesser amount.
- If you use a UT provider at a UT pharmacy you will receive 15% off the cost of your prescription.
- In order to save money and trips to the pharmacy, request to fill a 90 day supply.
- All recommended adult immunizations are available at each of the University of Toledo Pharmacy locations.
