Virtual COSMETIC SCIENCE AND FORMULATION DESIGN SUMMER CAMP
Did you know that The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has the nation’s only bachelor’s degree program in cosmetic science and formulation design? If you're interested in learning about the process of creating makeup and personal care products, join us for our 5th annual Virtual Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design Summer Camp taking place Tuesday, June 24, 2025 through Friday, June 27, 2025. Registration is now open! Campers will receive a camp kit including a t-shirt, DIY activities, games and more. Challenges will be incorporated throughout the live camp for an opportunity to win various prizes. The camp participation fee will be $100 (flat rate).
This camp is for high school students going into their sophomore, junior or senior year in fall 2025 and college students entering their freshman year in fall 2025.
The Beauty of Science Virtual Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design Summer Camp
was created and is led by Dr. Gabriella Baki, Director of the Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.S.P.S.) Cosmetic
Science and Formulation Design Program and Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics in
the Division of Pharmaceutical and Policy Sciences.
Camp kits
Each camper receives a camp kit including gifts from the presenters and hands-on science experiments that will be completed during the virtual camp. 2025 camp kits are in progress, but you can view the camp kits from previous years below!

Registration
Registration is now open at this link. The camp fee is $100 (total), which covers all supplies and activities. At the end of registration, options will be provided to pay in full or to request financial aid with supporting documentation (i.e., a 50% discount on the camp fee). Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate international registrations at this time due to the varying shipping costs and shipping timelines for international addresses; camp participants must have a U.S. based home address.
